Paul Demakes is a freelance illustrator based in historic Salem Massachusetts. He received his BFA at Montserrat College of Art in 2011. Paul has a passion for Greek mythology, cats, and slap stick humor. Paul works in traditional media, primarily in watercolor and gouache. He is currently working on getting into the children's book field and working on his own book dummy and character designs. Paul is available for freelance work and children's book projects. Paul had his work displayed in the Porter Mill Gallery in Feb of 2014 in the show Symbiotic. Paul had his work published in Art Throb Magazine, the article covers the opening night of Symbiotic and talks about the artist and his work.
